At noon, head to the Rocher of Tahiti for a unique cultural immersion. Welcomed with music by the group “Coco Show,” you’ll take part in workshops on weaving and tying the pareo, then enjoy a delicious lunch of fresh fish, accompanied by a local dessert called po’e, and a glass of wine, beer, or punch.
After this enriching experience, it will be time to head back to the departure point.
Come and discover the modern culture of local street food with your guide, who will take your taste buds on a journey through the Papeete municipal market and the surrounding city.
You’ll visit local vendors and sample authentic foods such as seasonal fruits, snacks, fish dishes, juices, and more — just to name a few of the delicious tastings from the island’s three main culinary influences: Tahitian, Chinese, and French.

ACCOMMODATION :
Stay at Tiahura, in a spacious lagoon-side villa, nestled in a vast 2,500 m² tropical garden, offering breathtaking views of a beautiful crystal-clear lagoon, the stingray and shark spot, and the motus. The perfect place to recharge during a getaway, or longer.
Located right next to the famous and beautiful Tipaniers Beach, this lovely property welcomes you in a zen and elegant atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, the ambiance sets the tone! A beautiful patio with lush greenery, at the heart of which stands a small Buddha, inviting you to daydream, read, or simply relax. The patio leads to the entrance of the villa’s two guest bedrooms, each in a private bungalow, featuring a Queen-size bed and air conditioning.
The main villa houses a large master suite with a private bathroom, and a living area consisting of a lounge space with a corner sofa, armchair, and Smart TV, opening onto an American-style, fully-equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there’s a spacious mezzanine for 5 people, featuring 2 double beds and a single bed.
However, your favorite spots will be outdoors, starting with the covered terrace that spans the entire length of the villa. This space is divided into two areas: a summer lounge and a dining area. Then, the huge garden filled with flowers and trees, within a coconut grove—the island’s sacred tree—culminates in a deck overlooking the lagoon, offering you its best view. Sun loungers and a small “fare potee” (traditional Polynesian hut) will make this spot undeniably your little slice of paradise. On the side of the deck, you’ll find the access to the lagoon.
Enjoy the translucent waters to the fullest and recharge your energy. Two single kayaks and one double kayak will allow you to explore the crystal-clear waters, reach the Motus, visit the Coco Beach restaurant, and access the famous sandbank with stingrays and sharks located just in front of the villa!
This excursion is our top recommendation for guests, as it offers a unique experience in Polynesia. More over, it’s eco-friendly since you sail using only the wind, causing no pollution to the lagoon.
Like all lagoon tours in Moorea, you’ll swim with rays and sharks, explore the submerged tiki statues, and wander through the lagoon—with in addition a snorkeling trip out into the open sea.!
You’ll be introduced to sailing and take an active part in the journey: raising the sail, steering the canoe, tying knots, and more.
You’ll learn about the history of Polynesian explorers and their legends!
Fresh fruit will be served on board.
Dive into the heart of Polynesian traditions with a flower necklace or crown weaving workshop, right from your home by the lagoon in Moorea. Guided by a local island resident, you’ll discover the ancestral art of floral weaving using fresh, fragrant flowers such as tiaré, hibiscus, and frangipani.
More than just a simple workshop, it’s a true moment of sharing with the local community. Your host will generously share Polynesian legends and traditions surrounding flowers, which are symbols of welcome and love in Polynesia. An authentic and warm immersion in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
A timeless moment, perfect for connecting with the local culture while enjoying a time of relaxation and creativity.
