DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN TAHITI – THE QUEEN OF THE PACIFIC

Arrival at Tahiti Airport
Upon arrival at Tahiti Airport, you will pick up your rental car directly in the airport hall and head to your first accommodation, located just a 5-minute drive from Papeete.

ACCOMMODATION: Ideally located in the heart of Papeete, within a secure residence with a swimming pool, this comfortable apartment, tastefully decorated and close to everything, will charm you. The main room is divided into two distinct areas: a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals, and a living room with Wi-Fi internet, a Smart TV, and a King-size sofa bed.
The master bedroom features a California King-size bed, air conditioning, ample storage space, a Smart TV, and a desk area. The guest room with a King-size bed is equipped with air conditioning, a fan, and a cozy reading nook for relaxation. The shower room features a double vanity and a walk-in shower.

DAY 2 – 4WD SAFARI TOUR THROUGH THE HEART OF TAHITI – PAPENOO VALLEY – 8H

Come explore the center of Tahiti Island, of volcanic origin. This remote environment, where time seems to have stood still, will allow you to admire the grandeur of Mother Nature, the beauty of its waterfalls, and the powerful Mana that resides here. You will be both intoxicated by the scent of its tropical flowers and in awe of the vastness of its mountains.

On board your fully-equipped 4×4, set off on a safari to the center of the crater and discover the Papenoo Valley, crossing through the heart of the largest island in Polynesia.

DAY 3 – BOAT EXCURSION TO THE PENINSULA AND TEAHUPOO WAVE – 4H

Discover the natural and cultural treasures of Tahiti’s peninsula on an unforgettable excursion. Explore the legendary Teahupo’o surf spot, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and venture into the wild Fenua Aihere. Admire the spectacular Te Pari cliffs, swim in rivers, explore caves, and enjoy breathtaking scenery before ending the day with a local refreshment.

DAY 4 – DEPARTURE FOR MOOREA, THE SISTER ISLAND

From the Papeete ferry terminal, embark with your car on the ferry to Moorea, reaching the island in less than an hour. Then, take the road to your accommodation located in Tiahura. Hiking through lush valleys and pineapple fields, swimming with rays and sharks, or simply relaxing on the white sandy beaches – Moorea has it all.

ACCOMMODATION: Staying at Fare Taina Dream means enjoying a truly Polynesian experience with family or friends. This charming fare, meaning “house” in Tahitian, is nestled in a tropical garden within a private property, with direct and private access to the famous Tipaniers Beach, renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in Moorea.

The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and observing rays, sharks, and even humpback whales from July to November. The fare is also equipped with kayaks, ideal for exploring the lagoon and fully enjoying this exceptional setting. DAY 5 - TRADITIONAL DOUBLE OUTRIGGER PIROGUE LAGOON EXCURSION - 4H

Set off on a unique adventure aboard a traditional sailing pirogue, an eco-responsible excursion carried only by the wind. Meet stingrays and sharks at the famous sandbar, explore the site of the submerged tiki, and enjoy an unforgettable snorkeling outing in the deep blue.

Immerse yourself in Polynesian culture by taking part in navigation: hoisting the sail, steering the pirogue, learning the knots. Discover the history of the explorers and local legends. Enjoy fresh fruit on board for an authentic and refreshing experience!

DAY 6 – 4WD SAFARI IN THE THE HEART OF MOOREA – 4H

Discover Moorea on a 4×4 safari through some of the island’s most iconic landscapes. Surrounded by lush mountains, green valleys, pineapple plantations, and spectacular viewpoints, this excursion takes you into the heart of authentic Moorea.

Aboard an off-road vehicle, explore inland tracks and admire the famous Cook and Opunohu bays from breathtaking panoramic spots. Your guide will share stories, local legends, and insights into Polynesian culture, wildlife, flora, and Moorea’s agriculture.

Combining adventure, discovery, and immersion, this 4×4 safari is an ideal experience to explore the island differently and leave with wonderful memories.

DAY 7 – DEPARTURE FOR HUAHINE, THE AUTHENTIC ISLAND

Upon arrival at Huahine Airport, you will pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation independently. Huahine is a true hidden gem, where tradition and authenticity reign. Discover its ancient archaeological sites, deserted beaches, and vanilla plantations. Take a cruise on the peaceful lagoon and explore the picturesque charm of this less-visited island.

ACCOMMODATION: At the junction of the two islands, Huahine Nui and Iti, Fare Teakavehere welcomes you in a wooded setting in the Maroe Bay, just steps away from the lagoon!
The fare offers 2 air-conditioned and fully equipped bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second with 2 single beds. It also has 2 shower rooms.
The living room is also air-conditioned and opens onto the kitchen. The terrace at the front of the house invites you to admire the view of the lagoon while enjoying your morning coffee. A barbecue is available for grilling and enjoying meals in the pleasant garden.
Three kayaks are provided, allowing you to explore the aquatic wildlife and flora (shared with the neighboring house). On the other side of the road, direct access to the lagoon is available via a small dock for kayaking or sunbathing sessions.

DAY 8 – PIROGUE & NATURE WALK EXCURSION – 6H

Embark on a journey to discover the hidden treasures of Huahine, starting with a 1.5-hour walk along the ancient trails of Maeva, the island’s iconic village. Along the way, explore fascinating archaeological sites such as sacred marae, and immerse yourself in the spiritual and cultural history of the island’s first inhabitants. The walk will lead you to the heights, offering a breathtaking panoramic view.

After this land exploration, board a traditional motorized canoe towards a peaceful motu. Once there, enjoy a local lunch with your feet in the sand, followed by a relaxing time on the beach.

The day continues on the lagoon: a canoe tour around the island, snorkeling in a vibrant coral garden, and exploring a preserved marine environment.

DAY 9 – DISCOVER HUAHINE ON YOUR OWN

There are many things you can do with a rental car:

  • – Motu Trésor (the shell museum).
  • – The sacred eels with blue eyes (in the center of Faie village).

  • – The passion for Pareo on the island of Huahine Iti, where you can experience the workshop of hand-painted pareo creation.

  • – Restaurant Chez Tara, Maa Tahiti cooked in the traditional Tahitian oven (only on Sundays).

  • – Huahine’s pearl farm.

  • – Huahine Passion Distillery.

  • – Tour of the two islands and their beaches.

DAY 10 - DEPARTURE FOR RAIATEA – THE SACRED ISLAND

Arriving at Raiatea airport, you will pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation on your own. Known as the cradle of Polynesian culture, Raiatea is rich in history and legends. Visit the Taputapuatea marae, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and sail on the sacred rivers. The lagoon surrounding Raiatea is shared with the island of Taha’a, which is world-renowned for its vanilla. This journey will allow you to visit two islands at once!

ACCOMMODATION: This newly built house features modern and refined décor, offering high-quality, recent equipment and three air-conditioned bedrooms.
The master bedroom offers a King-size bed and overlooks the terrace with a view of the lagoon. It has its own private bathroom with an Italian shower, sink, and toilet. The two following double bedrooms will share the second bathroom and its toilet.
The living area features a beautiful modern kitchen, fully equipped, open to the lounge with a central island and bar stools for dining inside. In the lounge, you’ll find a large corner sofa and a flat-screen TV. Internet is available via Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation.
The large terrace is furnished with a large table, barbecue, and garden lounge for enjoying appetizers while admiring the lagoon across the road and Bora Bora in the distance. Leisure equipment is available for your use, including 2 bikes and 2 kayaks, allowing you to explore the lagoon and stroll around the island.

DAY 11 - DISCOVERY OF RAIATEA BY PIROGUE AND POLYNESIAN LUNCH – 8H

Discover Raiatea on a complete tour of the sacred island in a comfortable, spacious canoe, equipped with private lounges. Admire the island’s wild coastlines, mountains, cliffs, and waterfalls. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in coral gardens, explore the white sandy motus, and meet marine life! Savor a typical Polynesian lunch in a little paradise corner. Connect with your ancestors by exploring the largest sacred site in Polynesia: the Marae Taputapuatea. Relax on the trampoline above the blue lagoon and admire the breathtaking landscapes. Let yourself be swept away by this unique experience, off the beaten path!

DAY 12 - DISCOVERY OF TAHAA BY BOAT FOR THE DAY – 8H

This tour is the ideal way to discover the island of Taha’a in just one day from Raiatea. Embark on a cruise in the lagoon of the vanilla island and moor up to discover the various must-sees that make it so famous. The program includes a visit to the vanilla plantation and an introduction to the techniques of this ancestral crop, a visit and tasting at the PARIPARI rum factory, and a visit to the pearl farm.

On the lagoon side, visit and snorkel in the famous coral garden to meet the multicolored fish, rays and sharks that swarm there. A typical local lunch will be served on a private Motu, and you’ll have the chance to enjoy it on tables right on the water! Cultural activities include coconut-opening techniques, weaving and many other surprises!

DAY 13 - DEPARTURE FOR BORA BORA, THE PEARL OF THE PACIFIC

Finish your adventure in style in Bora Bora, famous for its emerald waters and dreamlike motus. Upon arrival at the airport, you will take the free public boat shuttle to the main island, where you can pick up your rental car just a minute’s walk from the dock. You will then head to your accommodation independently.

Take a tour around the island and stop at the local market in Vaitape to discover local crafts.

Treat yourself to an exceptional day with a “DAY PASS” at a hotel on a motu (islet), stroll along the overwater bungalows by bike, relax by the pools, enjoy the kayaks, paddleboards, and other water sports equipment available, and indulge in a delicious meal at the restaurant.

DAY 15 - CULTURAL EXCURSION AND LAGOON TOUR IN A TRADITIONAL PIROGUE – 7H

During this cultural tour, you will be welcomed aboard a traditional pirogue decorated with powerful symbols and enjoy an authentic experience. You will discover the island and lagoon of Bora Bora, coral gardens, tropical fish, rays and sharks, sandbanks, and more. You will head to the family motu for a typical Polynesian meal. You will attend cultural workshops, learn about va’a, and enjoy this excursion accompanied by the sound of the ukulele and traditional music!

DAY 16 - DEPARTURE FOR TAHITI, LAST DAY BEFORE RETURN FLIGHT

Enjoy your final morning in Bora Bora with one last swim at the beautiful Matira Beach before your flight to Tahiti.

Back on Tahiti, take some time to browse the local shops and pick up your last souvenirs before heading to the airport for your return flight home.
