Your adventure begins at the end of the day at the marina in Papeete, on the island of Tahiti. After checking into your cabin and meeting the crew, the catamaran sets sail for a four-hour night sail. Far from the lights of the city, let yourself be lulled by the gentle roll of the boat and the spectacle of the starry sky, conducive to daydreaming and total disconnection.
At first light, the catamaran glides into the crystal-clear lagoon of Tetiaroa, a natural sanctuary once reserved for the Tahitian royal family. A generous breakfast awaits you on board, with a breathtaking view of the emerald waters and coconut-tree-lined islets. After this magical awakening, the crew invites you to explore the surrounding motus by dinghy. You dock on Île aux Oiseaux, a small paradise home to a multitude of marine species and tropical birds. A guided walk immerses you in Tetiaroa’s unique ecosystem, where nature reigns supreme.
Back on board, it’s time to relax: enjoy the catamaran’s nets for a breezy siesta, or try your hand at fishing in the lagoon. For snorkelers, the atoll’s shallow waters are home to majestic manta rays. Lunch, prepared with fresh local produce, is shared in a warm and friendly atmosphere, enhanced by the magic of the place.
The afternoon is spent at a Polynesian pace: swimming, exploring other islets in the dinghy, or relaxing on the deck of the catamaran. The more curious can try a new fishing session or simply admire the beauty of the landscape. As the sun sets, the crew invites you to an aperitif on deck, followed by dinner under the stars, in a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.
The next morning, another breakfast overlooking the lagoon awaits you. If you feel like it, set off to discover other motus, observe the marine wildlife or enjoy a final dip in the translucent waters. Moments of rest on the catamaran’s nets alternate with water activities, for an experience that’s as active as it is relaxing.
Before setting sail again for Tahiti in the early afternoon, treat yourself to a final moment of contemplation, gazing at the horizon. This enchanted interlude in Tetiaroa, a blend of adventure, relaxation and conviviality, will remain one of the most precious memories of your trip to Polynesia.
Once back in Tahiti, take the time to visit the shops and pick up your last souvenirs before heading to the airport for your return flight.
