Tour Overview
Discover the natural and cultural treasures of the Tahiti Peninsula on an authentic excursion through some of the island’s most spectacular landscapes.
Your adventure begins on the water as you head towards the legendary Teahupo’o surf break, world-famous for its iconic wave and for hosting the surfing events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. From the lagoon, you will have the opportunity to watch surfers take on this spectacular wave and witness one of nature’s most impressive shows.
Next, cruise towards the protected reserve in southern Tahiti, where a snorkeling stop in crystal-clear waters will reveal an extraordinary marine ecosystem. Depending on the season and conditions, you may encounter dolphins, blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, and, from July to November, humpback whales.
The excursion then continues into the heart of Fenua Aihere, considered the wildest and most untouched part of Tahiti. Beyond this point, the road ends and gives way to unspoiled nature. There are no roads connecting this remote area, and the few homes scattered along the coastline are accessible mainly by boat. The local residents maintain a simple and authentic way of life, closely connected to nature, fishing, and tourism. Electricity is generated through private generators or independent systems, further preserving the isolated character of this unique region.
A true haven away from time, Fenua Aihere offers a rare glimpse into the Tahiti of old, far removed from the modern world. You will also discover the majestic cliffs of Te Pari, breathtaking landscapes sculpted by the ocean and mountains over centuries.
You will then land in a beautiful mape forest, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the river, try traditional rope swings, and explore fascinating natural caves.
Throughout the journey, you will be captivated by the raw beauty of this exceptional region, with its lush mountains, spectacular waterfalls, and rugged coastline. To end this unforgettable experience, enjoy a refreshing local fruit juice or the famous Hinano beer, an iconic symbol of French Polynesia.
