From the terrace of your bungalow or that, panoramic, restaurant, or from a sunbed by the infinity pool, the view is breathtaking. Every morning, enjoy a buffet breakfast before ending the day with a tasty dinner in a warm and authentic atmosphere.
Walk through the village, passing by the beach, and discover the cultural center Paul Gauguin and Jacques Brel.
Continue your visit with a stop at the cemetery located on the heights of the village, where the two artists, Paul Gauguin and Jacques Brel, rest in their last homes.
Go for a day of adventure in an off-road vehicle through picturesque valleys and villages, towards Puamau, at the north-eastern tip of the island.
Visit the archaeological site of Iipona, famous for its imposing tiki, including the “Takai” (2.43 m) and the rare “Makai’i Taua Pepe”, horizontal polynesian tiki.
Have lunch at a homestay (Marie-Antoinette) and enjoy a refreshing swim in the afternoon.
On the way back, stop in the tropical forest of Punaei to admire the mysterious tiki “Utuka”, nicknamed the “Smiling Tiki”.
