Arrival at Tahiti airport, pick up your rental car in the airport lobby and drive to your first self-catering accommodation in Papeete, a 15-minute drive away.
ACCOMMODATION : Discover this magnificent apartment in Faa’a, a true haven of peace in the heart of French Polynesia. This bright and welcoming apartment offers a quiet residential setting just 15 minutes from the airport, ideal for an unforgettable stay.
The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms that can accommodate up to 4 people. Each room has its own bathroom for added comfort and privacy. Perfect for families, couples or small groups of friends. The 76 m² of living space is complemented by a 32 m² terrace, offering unobstructed views of the sea and surrounding mountains, the bustling port of Papeete and the surrounding mountains.
In terms of amenities, you’ll enjoy a modern, functional interior, imbued with Tahitian art. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, coffee machine and all necessary utensils. Air-conditioning is available in the bedrooms for your comfort, as well as a laundry area with washing machine and dryer, and a large dressing room.
The location is a major asset : just 200 meters from an Easy Go supermarket, and close to downtown Papeete (7.2 km). Covered private parking for 2 vehicles is available.

Visit the archaeological site of Iipona, famous for its imposing tiki, including the “Takai” (2.43 m) and the rare “Makai’i Taua Pepe”, horizontal polynesian tiki.
Have lunch at a homestay (Marie-Antoinette) and enjoy a refreshing swim in the afternoon.
On the way back, stop in the tropical forest of Punaei to admire the mysterious tiki “Utuka”, nicknamed the “Smiling Tiki”.
From the ferry station in Papeete, board the ferry with the company APETAHI EXPRESS to reach Taha’a in the leeward islands.
Arrival at the Taha’a ferry station, you will be transferred by boat to your accommodation.

This tour is the ideal way to discover the island of Taha’a in just one day from Raiatea. At the end of the day, once all the tourist boats have returned to the harbor, enjoy the sandbank in near exclusivity, swimming with rays and sharks. Swim by the submerged tikis and search for turtles in the channel! You will stroll through the lagoon, with an additional outing into the deep blue for some snorkeling! You will also be introduced to navigation and fully participate in the journey: raising the sail, steering the canoe, tying knots, etc.
