Schedule
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN TAHITI - THE QUEEN OF THE PACIFIC

Arrive at Tahiti airport, pick up your rental car in the airport lobby and drive to your first self-catering accommodation in Papeete, a 5-minute drive away.

 

ACCOMMODATION : Ideally located in the heart of downtown Papeete, this beautiful studio has been refurbished to a very high standard, with a contemporary decor. Every space has been designed with your comfort in mind.

The main sleeping area is the double bed in the living room. A double bed is also available on the mezzanine for 2 children / teenagers (or 2 adults if required), but please note that access by ladder can be restrictive and the ceiling height is lower than normal.

The studio is air-conditioned, and there’s also a fan on the mezzanine level.

The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. A hairdryer is also at your disposal.

You can also enjoy a beautiful kitchen area designed to contain everything you need to prepare your meals: ceramic hob, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster… as well as a dining table.

DAY 2 - 4WD SAFARI EXCURSION IN THE HEART OF TAHITI - PAPENOO VALLEY - 8H

Set off to discover the volcanic heart of Tahiti, a place where time seems to stand still. In this unspoiled paradise, nature reveals its full majesty through spectacular waterfalls and the powerful Mana that flows throughout the island.

Aboard a rugged 4WD vehicle, embark on a unique safari into the heart of the crater and explore the magnificent Papenoo Valley, one of Tahiti’s most iconic landscapes.

DAY 3 - BOAT EXCURSION TO THE PENINSULE & TEAHUPOO WAVE - 4H

Discover the natural and cultural treasures of Tahiti’s peninsula on an unforgettable excursion. Explore the legendary Teahupo’o surf spot, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and venture into the wild Fenua Aihere. Admire the spectacular Te Pari cliffs, swim in rivers, explore caves, and enjoy breathtaking scenery before ending the day with a local refreshment.

DAY 4 – DEPARTURE FOR MOOREA, THE SISTER ISLAND

From the Papeete ferry terminal, take your car and board the ferry to Moorea in less than an hour and drive to your accommodation in Tiahura. Hiking through lush valleys and pineapple fields, swimming with rays and sharks, or simply relaxing on the white sandy beaches – Moorea has it all. 

 

ACCOMMODATION : Stay in Tiahura and enjoy a cozy bungalow just steps from Moorea’s lagoon. Comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests, it features an air-conditioned bedroom, a living room with sofa beds, and a fully equipped kitchen. Relax on the terrace or enjoy direct access to Les Tipaniers Beach. Perfect for a peaceful island getaway combining sun, sea, and relaxation.

DAY 5 - TRADITIONAL DOUBLE OUTRIGGER PIROGUE LAGOON EXCURSION - 4H

Set off on a unique adventure aboard a traditional sailing pirogue, an eco-responsible excursion carried only by the wind. Meet stingrays and sharks at the famous sandbar, explore the site of the submerged tiki, and enjoy an unforgettable snorkeling outing in the deep blue.

Immerse yourself in Polynesian culture by taking part in navigation: hoisting the sail, steering the pirogue, learning the knots. Discover the history of the explorers and local legends. Enjoy fresh fruit on board for an authentic and refreshing experience!

DAY 6 - ELECTRIC QUAD BIKE SAFARI EXCURSION - 4H

Discover the island of Moorea in a different, responsible and ecological way, without pollution or noise pollution, to allow your senses to be fully awakened.

Explore the magnificent Opunohu Valley on this original and unique hike, accessible to all levels! Cross its lush forests, streams and rivers, visit fields of pineapple, coconut, banana, papaya, breadfruit, mango and a host of other fruit trees that your guide will be delighted to show you.

DAY 7 - DEPARTURE FOR AUTHENTIC HUAHINE

Arrive at Huahine airport, pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to your self-catering accommodation. Huahine is a true hidden gem, where tradition and authenticity reign supreme. Discover its ancient archaeological sites, deserted beaches and vanilla plantations. Cruise the tranquil lagoon and explore the picturesque charm of this little-visited island.

 

ACCOMMODATION : Located in the south of Huahine, in the charming village of Parea, Fare Miti welcomes you on one of the island’s most beautiful beaches. This bright bungalow, opening onto the lagoon, is the perfect place to experience the Polynesian way of life, surrounded by nature, tranquility, and authenticity.

DAY 8 - PIROGUE EXCURSION & MOTU LUNCH - 6H

Embark for a full day on the Huahine lagoon in a traditional pirogue to discover the aquatic fauna and flora. Get in the water and snorkel in the warm, crystal-clear waters. Explore the coral gardens, natural aquariums and admire the animals that inhabit the lagoon. Discover the culture and history of the Tahitian pearl by visiting the pearl farm, the only one in Polynesia to be located in the middle of a lagoon.

Continue on to the family Motu for a lunch of local flavors and fresh produce, a true Polynesian feast! Relax on the beach and soak up the sun under the coconut palms before setting off around the island.

DAY 9 - DISCOVER THE ISLAND BY CAR

There are many things you can do with a rental car:

  • – Motu Trésor (the shell museum).
  • – The sacred eels with blue eyes (in the center of Faie village).

  • – The passion for Pareo on the island of Huahine Iti, where you can experience the workshop of hand-painted pareo creation.

  • – Restaurant Chez Tara, Maa Tahiti cooked in the traditional Tahitian oven (only on Sundays).

  • – Huahine’s pearl farm.

  • – Huahine Passion Distillery.

  • – Tour of the two islands and their beaches.

DAY 10 - DEPARTURE FOR RAIATEA - THE SACRED ISLAND

Arrive at Raiatea airport, pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to your self-catering accommodation. Known as the cradle of Polynesian culture, Raiatea is rich in history and legends. Visit the TaputapuAtea marae, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and navigate the sacred rivers. The surrounding lagoon is shared with the island of Taha’a, world-famous for its vanilla. This trip allows you to visit 2 islands at once!

 

ACCOMMODATION : Studio Tenape is a comfortable air-conditioned accommodation for 2 guests, ideally located close to the airport, lagoon, shops, and restaurants. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Guests can also enjoy a riverside terrace, with complimentary kayaks and bicycles available to explore Raiatea at their own pace.

DAY 11 - KAYAKING DOWN THE FAAROA RIVER - 3H

Explore Raiatea in a different way by kayaking up its mythical river, an immersive adventure in the heart of unspoilt nature. Accompanied by a passionate guide, paddle up Polynesia’s only navigable river and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the surrounding rainforest. Accessible to all levels, this gentle, environmentally-friendly excursion lets you discover the island’s ecological wealth while limiting your impact on this fragile ecosystem.

As you float along, listen to captivating tales of local history and legends, observe endemic flora and fauna and enjoy a unique moment of connection with nature. Between wonder, sharing and a commitment to more responsible tourism, this kayak trip is an unmissable experience on Raiatea!

DAY 12 - TAHA'A DAY BOAT TOUR - 8H

This tour is the ideal way to discover the island of Taha’a in just one day from Raiatea. Embark on a cruise in the lagoon of the vanilla island and moor up to discover the various must-sees that make it so famous. The program includes a visit to the vanilla plantation and an introduction to the techniques of this ancestral crop, a visit and tasting at the PARIPARI rum factory, and a visit to the pearl farm.

On the lagoon side, visit and snorkel in the famous coral garden to meet the multicolored fish, rays and sharks that swarm there. A typical local lunch will be served on a private Motu, and you’ll have the chance to enjoy it on tables right on the water! Cultural activities include coconut-opening techniques, weaving and many other surprises!

DAY 13 - DEPARTURE FOR BORA BORA, THE PEARL OF THE PACIFIC

End your adventure in style on Bora Bora, famous for its emerald lagoon and dreamy motus. Arriving at the airport, you’ll take the free public boat shuttle to the main island, where you’ll pick up your rental car just a 1-minute walk from the dock. You’ll reach your accommodation independently.

 

ACCOMMODATION : Welcome to Blue Pearl Studio, a charming apartment ideally located in Anau on the beautiful island of Bora Bora. Set on the edge of the lagoon within a secure waterfront residence, this accommodation offers an exceptional setting that is both peaceful and convenient, providing the perfect base from which to discover all the wonders of the “Jewel of the Pacific.”

DAY 14 - ISLAND TOUR AND DISCOVERY OF BORA BORA BY CAR

Explore Bora Bora at your own pace with your rental car. You can explore the center of the island by hiking through easy trails that offer breathtaking panoramic views, or relax on the paradisiacal Matira Beach! Take a tour around the island and stop at the local market in Vaitape to discover local crafts.

Treat yourself to an exceptional day with a “DAY PASS” at a hotel on a motu (islet), stroll along the overwater bungalows by bike, relax by the pools, enjoy the kayaks, paddleboards, and other water sports equipment available, and indulge in a delicious meal at the restaurant.

DAY 15 - CULTURAL AND LAGON EXCURSION ON TRADITIONAL PIROGUE - 7H

On this cultural tour, you’ll be welcomed aboard a traditional pirogue with strong symbols and enjoy an authentic experience. You’ll discover the island and lagoon of Bora Bora, a coral garden, tropical fish, rays and sharks, sandbanks and more. You’ll head to the family motu for a typical Polynesian meal. You’ll take part in cultural workshops, learn to play the va’a and enjoy an excursion lulled by the sound of the ukulele and traditional music!

DAY 16 - DEPARTURE FOR TAHITI, LAST DAY BEFORE RETURN FLIGHT

Enjoy your final morning in Bora Bora with one last swim at the beautiful Matira Beach before your flight to Tahiti.

Back on Tahiti, take some time to browse the local shops and pick up your last souvenirs before heading to the airport for your return flight home.
