Originally designed for net fishing flying fish (marara), the Poti Marara is now used for various types of catches including skipjack tuna, yellowfin tuna, and mahi-mahi — often caught by harpoon. Its versatility also makes it ideal for trolling, bottom fishing, and rod fishing.
