Tour Overview
Discover Tetiaroa, a private atoll of exceptional beauty, on a day-long catamaran excursion that will allow you to explore a real atoll just a few hours from Tahiti.
Aboard a comfortable, small-capacity catamaran, guaranteeing an intimate experience, you will set sail early in the morning from Papeete marina for a 4-hour crossing that will take you to paradise.
Tetiaroa, famous for its history linked to Marlon Brando and its luxury hotel welcoming celebrities, “Le Brando,” is a preserved natural site where flora and fauna thrive in peace.
Once you arrive in Tetiaroa, you will begin your exploration with a walk on Bird Island, a sanctuary for seabirds such as frigatebirds and terns. As you stroll along the beach, you will be able to observe these magnificent birds flying freely in their natural habitat. Your enthusiastic guide will provide you with fascinating information about the species present and the history of the island.
After this walk, you will dive into the crystal-clear waters of Tetiaroa Lagoon for some snorkeling, a veritable natural aquarium where you can swim among colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, and perhaps even rays or reef sharks. You will have free time to enjoy Tetiaroa’s deserted beaches, which are pristine, lined with palm trees, and offer the perfect setting for relaxing, swimming, or walking.
After a refreshing swim, lunch will be served on board, a delicious Polynesian meal with Tahitian-style raw fish, grilled chicken, fresh salads, and local tropical fruits. This is a pleasant time to chat with the other passengers while enjoying the breathtaking view of the ocean.
After your free time, it will be time to board the catamaran for the return trip to Tahiti, one last opportunity to enjoy the exceptional landscapes of Tetiaroa before heading back to civilization, crossing the Pacific Ocean once again to return to Papeete.
