Welcome to Maatea Sunset House, a typical Polynesian house ideally located on the island of Moorea, just 20 minutes from the ferry pier. Nestled by the sea, in the commune of Maatea, it offers an unobstructed view of the turquoise waters of the lagoon from its terrace.

Let yourself be enchanted by this unique natural setting: kayaking trips, unforgettable sunsets with a drink in hand, or moments of relaxation facing the horizon… Here, every day is a living postcard.

The Polynesian charm, called Fare in Polynesia, this accommodation with an architecture open to the outside perfectly harmonises with the surrounding nature. Decorative touches of shells recall the richness of the lagoon and its wonders that you can admire just at the foot of the house.

La Maatea Sunset House can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people, and up to 12 upon request (with a supplement of 2,500 XPF per person per day from the 8th onwards).

It has three spacious and well-ventilated bedrooms:

Two bedrooms each equipped with a double bed, ideal for restful nights lulled by the sea breeze.

One bedroom with a queen-size bed, offering even more space and comfort.

For your convenience, the house includes a bathroom with WC as well as a separate WC. Bath towels are provided for the entire duration of your stay. A washing machine is available on site.

You will stay connected thanks to free Wi-Fi, while enjoying the authenticity and tranquillity of the place.

The kitchen is fully equipped: refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, kettle and everything necessary to prepare your meals.

The living room includes a corner sofa and a double bed, with a direct view of the lagoon through its large opening onto the terrace.

The terrace overlooking the lagoon invites you to enjoy your meals with an unobstructed view, in a soothing setting where the blue of the sea blends with the green of the vegetation.

For your moments of relaxation, sun loungers are installed in the garden, accompanied by a barbecue area to share convivial meals outdoors. The enclosed garden can accommodate up to four vehicles, guaranteeing you safety and practicality.

Nautical leisure enthusiasts can enjoy two double kayaks and a paddle provided to explore the lagoon and its wonders. After your swimming, an outdoor shower will allow you to rinse off directly upon returning from the sea.

Small animals are welcome, provided they remain outside the house.

Whether you come with family or friends, Maatea Sunset House is the ideal place to fully experience the Polynesian experience, between relaxation, discoveries and unforgettable moments by the water.
